Job Description:

As a software development QC manager at zlien you will be responsible for shipping software with no defects to production, and accountable for production defects if they occur. You will be managing a team of software QC engineers to achieve this, by developing and maintaining processes to bake the quality focus within the development lifecycle, and managing KPIs to track their progress. You will get a chance to shape a fast growing successful web platform that is adopted and used daily by thousands of users.

QC manager at zlien should have a strong background in web platforms testing, software engineering, and people management. They are good problem finders, knowledgeable about the latest trends in software testing, and are able to lead a team of engineers. 

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain a testing process that minimizes production defects
  • Develop and maintain KPIs for the quality assurance team
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership for the software QC team
  • Ensure the QC team is fully staffed and properly utilized
  • Work on the career development of each of the team members
  • Track and report production defects


  • 7+ years of experience in software development and/or software testing
  • Excellent understanding of software testing techniques and tools
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Good understanding of software engineering concepts
  • High accuracy in work and keen attention to details
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
